Enfield Auto Body has recently become the only heavy-duty vehicle Tech-Net location in the Halifax Regional Municipality and are expanding their industrial & commercial services.  Whether it's the family car or a fleet of vehicles, Enfield Auto Body is your destination for affordable auto body and collision repairs.  We are a modern automotive repair facility, fully equipped and handle everything from private repairs to insurance claims, from corporate fleet service to heavy industrial repairs, (Metro Transit and Dept. of National Defence).  We are also your destination for Recreational Vehicle repair.  Enfield Auto Body provides industry standard,  guaranteed repairs using the highest quality materials, and state of the art equipment.  John Shields  opened this family run business in Enfield, Nova Scotia in 1979.  Within a few years, he had expanded the business and moved to it's current location.  Enfield Auto Body has been providing excellent services to the community for over 25 years, and our six member staff offers over 50 years of combined experience in the auto industry!

Painting & Body Work

Our fully trained technicians can handle anything from a minor scratch on the family car, to extensive body work on your truck, to total rebuilds for your entire fleet of commercial vehicles!  We use only top quality BASF finishes & coatings.  We can even accommodate custom paint jobs as our paint technician can mix up  colours right on site.   First we carefully protect the undamaged portions of your vehicle and then apply the finish in our Paint Bay.  Any special buffing required is done last to restore your car to a "brand new luster".  When it comes to  body work, we are one of the few facilities specializing in body work for recreational vehicles in addition to the usual run of cars, trucks, buses etc.  We even cater to the stringent needs required by the Halifax International Airport, which demands the highest standards in the industry for a variety of specialized vehicles.  And of course, our work and materials are guaranteed to last as long as the original manufacturer's warranty.  You'll find our results will satisfy both yourself and your insurance adjuster!  Give us a call or drop by with your vehicle and we'll be glad to give you an estimate.

Know Your Rights!

Attention all motorists!  As the owner of a motor vehicle you have the right to choose the shop where you wish to have your vehicle repaired.

For various reasons some insurance companies arrange special discounts on parts and labour with certain repair facilities.  In no way are you obligated to have your vehicle repaired at these discount repair shops - the choice is always up to you!

Directions

From Halifax or Truro - take Exit 7 off the #102 Trans Canada Highway and pass the Irving Big Stop.  Take an immediate right turn over the small wooden bridge onto the Oldham Road, and you'll quickly find Old Post Road, your second turn to the right. 

On the old #2 Highway heading south, pass through the village of Enfield, over the railway tracks and then the Shubenacadie River on a highway bridge, then watch just ahead for the Irving Big Stop on your right.  Take a left immediately before the Big Stop over the small wooden bridge onto the Oldham Road and we're just a minute or two from there.  Watch for Old Post Road, your second turning on your right.

On the old #2 Highway heading north, watch for the highway sign "Enfield" on your right, and you'll soon cross the 102, the Trans Canada Highway.  Pass the Irving Big Stop and take an immediate right turn over the small wooden bridge onto the Oldham Road, then take your second right onto Old Post Road and you can't miss our large blue garage.
